Product Marketing
Product Marketing was a 'big thing' several years ago, as was Product Management, and there is no reason why they shouldn't continue to be so, as long as they are part of an integrated and comprehensive Marketing strategy.

Product Marketing is that sector of Marketing activity concerned with giving a product help to get into the market, to grow products' acceptability, sales and profits.

So Product Marketing is about defining the ideal customer, about specifying a product or service that meets the wants of the ideal customer, about making ideal customers aware and familiar with the unique ways in which the product or service meets these wants and relieves the pains and anxieties caused by its absence.

It is also about allowing prospects to easily communicate their intent to purchase and enabling them to buy in the way that they want to.

And interwoven with all of these, Product Marketing is about building customers' trust in you every step of the way.
