Overview

Selling means interacting with prospective purchasers and striking deals.
It means interacting with prospective purchasers who match your 'ideal client' profile in order to strike win-win deals in which products and/or services (and either or both of these could include information) are swapped for money or some other consideration.
In order to meet the win-win criterion, both parties must rightly believe that the value they are gaining outweighs (generally to a high degree) the value of what they have to part with in order to get it, and this value includes the timely delivery of both the result and the consideration.  Both parties need to be delighted with the deal, from start to finish.
Other than being legal and ethical, everything else is detail, specific to the individual occasion - detail that is aired, discussed and agreed between the parties involved.
It's important for every firm and business to have a selling strategy that integrates with their marketing and pricing strategies.

Are You A Salesperson?

Selling's something that some people are just born good at, and others aren't, isn't it?
Selling anything's easy for those people, isn't it?  They can sell sand to the Arabs and snow to the Eskimos can't they?  Or can they?
There are four big mistakes frequently made in sales conversations, even by experienced salespeople.  You need a selling strategy that avoids you ever being in a position to make these mistakes.
It's likely that you're like most business owners and haven't come from a Sales and Marketing background.  You might even say, "I'm not a salesman."  Maybe marketing and selling yourself seems hard, if not terrifying.  But the harsh reality is, you have to do it – otherwise you'll have no work!
If you're a business owner looking for a way to sell that doesn't feel like you're really selling at all, you've come to the right place.  How much more profitable could you be if you were avoiding those four big mistakes, getting your prospects to handle their own objections, eliminating the need for negotiation and having your clients close the deals for you?
You can if you are working with David Winch!
This site introduces my material and my methods - much of it free to business owners who are committed to improving their Sales and Marketing.  You might be interested in the Pricing and Selling page, for example.  Other, more advanced resources to help you further with your marketing and selling are also available.
